Psychologies is a British magazine for women. Modelled on the French version with the same name, it is a mag:
that is about what we are really like, not just what we look like. If you are interested in the ways we think, behave, communicate and connect, then this is for you. Whether you want to develop your own potential, or become a better parent, partner or friend, we will bring you the ideas, insights and inspiration to help you do it.
A user-friendly, intelligent and cool mag that combines psychology and women's issues. Articles that urge the reader to "get to know your shadow side". Questions such as, "Is Supernanny right?" Online tests too (for the courageous!)
What a great idea. It's definitely time for a magazine like this in Oz!
It sounds interesting! I'll have to get my mom to send me a copy.

Yes it only started last October in the Uk. But now you've confused me HealthPsych - you've spelt mum the American way but your mom lives in the UK?
I'm intrigued- do tell!

Hi Deb,
Doesn't it make you want to get the same type of mag happening yourself? Such a great idea, you could have a lot of fun with it.

The mom thing? No idea why I do that! *slyly searching subconscious*
Anyway...I have sent my mother on a mission to source this..if she manages to find it, I'll pass it on to you once I've perused it, if you're interested.

Haven't seen it on the shelves but will look out for it now. It's got to be better than the vast amounts of 'Celeb Gossip' rags. What a waste of trees.
Maybe they should invent celeb gossip loo roll, then we can read it then you know what.

Sorry (posted twice) that's what happens when you blog and try to care for baby at the same time...

HP, Yes I'm interested. Would love some feedback and opinions. Does your mum live in the UK?
Erica - Hi! Would love some feedback from you too. It sounds like such a good idea, but without reading it, it's still just a theory. Love the idea of celeb loo paper- or perhaps we could just use those other ghastly mags instead? Will venture over to your blog/site soon. Have had a quick squizz and it looks lovely (baby Erin's stolen the show huh?) Welcome!
