Post Natal Depression In Men

Father2020baby20hands1 This article on a SMH blog will explain so much to so many. Apparently, as many as one in 14 new fathers may be affected by the Black dog of bubba's arrival.

So then, new mother's take rest. You're not the only one who may be going mad with the birth of someone you'll never stop loving...

Also included in the post is Panda, a site dedicated to offering support to those suffering post and antenatal depression. Slanted towards women, but men are in there as well.

Alison,
This is a great find. Thanks for sharing!

That's really interesting. I had no clue! But it sure makes sense that they could suffer too.

The Panda site looks very good. Great that they include men too.

Words From The Other

  • A woman once came up to William James, after he had delivered a lecture on cosmology, and assured him that the world rested on the back of a giant turtle. "But what does the turtle rest on?" James asked. "Another turtle," she replied. James paused, and the lady anticipated his question: "I know what you're going to ask, Professor James, and it's turtles all the way down." - from Whiskey River
